Garthowen B&B is a new home, built in 2005, the style of the 1900s original, and with all the modern features and comforts to make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.
We offer our guests the choice of four rooms, all with luxurious ensuite bathrooms. Thoughtful extras such as magazines,TV's DVD's, books, Port and personalised chocolates are provided in each room. All rooms have direct access outside onto a verandah with table and chairs, comfy cushions and romantic candles plus views of our beautiful cottage garden and the stunning Akaroa harbour and just 10 metres to the beach from our front door
